I often get asked where my love for selling homes in Woburn Sands comes from…

To put it simply; my family have very deep roots here.

I’m personally Woburn Sands born and raised! I grew up on Pine Grove with most of my friends living on Elm Grove and Maple Grove – most of their parents still live in the same house which is testament to the lifestyle Woburn Sands offers. We eventually moved to Vandyke Close where my parents still live now. Those who went to Swallowfield will likely know my amazing Mum, Angela Fessey, who worked there for 25 years.

My grandparents on my mother’s side lived at Claerwen on Weathercock Lane after moving from Station Road. My Great Nan also lived on Russell Street before going into Burlington Hall later in life. My Nan on my Father’s side even ran The Swan on the High Street as well as The Swan in Salford!

It’s fair to say the Fessey’s are passionate about Woburn Sands and I’m really proud to channel that passion into property. I love how eclectic the homes are from street to street, but it’s not just about the homes – it’s about the lifestyle. One of my favourite things about Woburn Sands are the walks around the woods at the top of Church Road. Having sold properties all over the larger Milton Keynes area, I can safety say what Woburn Sands offers is rare. And is only getting rarer.

We see a lot of people relocating to the area, craving that traditional setting they may be used to. It’s why I think it’s so important to be able to explain these nuances to buyers so they’re not just comparing homes to other homes, and deliver the best result for my sellers.
